  • Will my request for a refund generate an audit?
  • 1) Refund requests under $25,000 are normally refunded without verification. If the company is eventually selected for an audit at a future time, then the refund may be verified for periods still within statute.
    2) If the refund request is $25,000 or greater, then the refund will generally be verified, but only for issues related to the refund request.

  • How long does it take for me to get my refund?
  • 1) It takes an average of 30-45 days to receive a refund for under $25,000.
    2) Refunds greater than $25,000 that are verified can take several months.

  • Will you represent us throughout the refund process?
  • Yes. We will do all refund work and represent you before the Comptroller's office regarding any questions they may have.

  • Will you educate my CPA or tax preparer the proper way of reporting?
  • Yes. In fact, we prefer meeting with your CPA in each case so that future returns will be handled correctly.

  • How long is the refund period?
  • Statute of limitations allow us to go back four years.

  • If no taxes are recovered, does my company owe you a fee?
  • No. Our fee is based on tax monies recovered only.
