1) Refund requests under $25,000 are normally refunded without verification. If the company is eventually selected for an audit at a future time,
then the refund may be verified for periods still within statute.
2) If the refund request is $25,000 or greater, then the refund will generally be verified,
but only for issues related to the refund request.
1) It takes an average of 30-45 days to receive a refund for under $25,000.
2) Refunds greater than $25,000 that are verified can take several months.
